Lady Rosalind Morrison is the Honorary President of the Ligon Family & Kinsmen Association. Her uncle was William Ligon, the Eighth Earl of Beauchamp, and in 1989, following the deaths of her uncle and his wife; she became the Chatelaine of Madresfield Court. Thereafter, she has traveled to the U.S. on a number of occasions to attend the biennial reunions of the LFKA.
Lady Rosalind is a very involved and respected member of her town. Since 2006, she has been a Deputy Lieutenant of Worcestershire, as well as High Sheriff (in 2011), a Governor of The King’s School Worcester and Chairman of Worcester Cathedral’s Music and Light Appeal. She is currently Patron of a number of other voluntary/charitable organizations, including the Beauchamp Community at Newlands, which was originally endowed by her family. Most recently, Lady Rosalind was elevated to Vice Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire. thus representing The Queen in the County.
Also in 2011, Lady Rosalind moved from the Manor House, Madresfield Court, to a residence on the grounds. The main house is now occupied by her daughter, Lucy, her husband Jonathan Chevenix -Trench and their four children.
Lady Rosalind has continued to foster the special relationship with the American cousins, which were forged by her uncle, William.
She is an honored and beloved member of the association.
