The LFKA posthumously remembers our Co-Honorary President.

The Honorable Lady Rosalind Morrison

2018-2020 Honorary President

Lady Rosalind Morrison was the Honorary President of the Ligon Family & Kinsmen Association. Her uncle was William Ligon, the Eighth Earl of Beauchamp, and in 1989, following the deaths of her uncle and his wife, she became the Chatelaine of Madresfield Court. Thereafter, she traveled to the U.S. on a number of occasions to attend the biennial reunions of the LFKA.
Lady Rosalind was very involved and respected member of Malvern. Since 2006, she was a Deputy Lieutenant of Worcestershire, as well as High Sheriff (in 2011), a Governor of The King’s School Worcester and Chairman of Worcester Cathedral’s  Music and Light Appeal. She was a patron of a number of other voluntary/charitable organizations, including the Beauchamp Community at Newlands, which was originally endowed by her family.  Lady Rosalind was elevated to Vice Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, thus representing The Queen in the County.

Upon her passing, Lady Rosalind continued to foster the special relationship with the American cousins, which were forged by her uncle, William.
She was an honored and beloved member of the association and will be missed by all.
